 Welcome

The Stafford Elementary School Library serves approximately 470 first through fifth grade students. The library has over 10,000 fiction and nonfiction books in its collection. The mission of the library is to meet the informational, educational, and recreational needs of Stafford Elementary School’s students. The goal of the library program is to develop lifelong learners by using technology, promoting resource-based learning and the common core, developing information literacy skills, and fostering a love of reading. In order to achieve these goals, the library works collaboratively with teachers to ensure the responsible and ethical use of technology, provide resources that support and enhance the curriculum, and promote the enjoyment and importance of reading.
